DaddyCo Toys was created for the love of games and fun. We didn’t start inventing toys in our workshop for any reason other than loving the feeling of creating something that people have fun with.
Becoming an Electric Magician
DaddyCo Toy founder Matthew Millhouse has always been inspired by inventors. One of his favorites, Nikola Tesla, is one of the reasons he went on to become a Journeyman Electrician.
While electricity is a modern magic that runs our everyday lives, Matt knew he still wanted to invent something of his own.
Finding a New Spark in Creation
The idea to invent a new toy came about when Matt recognized his passion for the classic movies and shows of his childhood, like Star Wars, Star Trek, Buck Rogers, and felt excited at the idea of making his games and toys that his kids could enjoy.
Our First Creations
Zombie Smash was the first game created by DaddyCo Toys. This easy-to-play dice-rolling adventure game tasks each player with rolling the dice and being the first to rescue all of their pets from the zombie apocalypse.
We also recognize how easy it is to lose board game pieces, so Zombie Smash only requires the two included dice to play, and they’ve got their storage slot on the game board!
Next, we invented Digit Doodlers, a safe, non-toxic, and mess-free way for kids to have their first experiences with nail art decoration.
Whether “painting” their own or practicing on Mom and Dad, Digit Doodlers were created to be mess-free fun that easily washes off so that Mom or Dad can still look professional at work the next morning.
Tinkering With New Toys
We’re just getting started at DaddyCo Toys. We continue to come up with new ideas for toys and games in our workshop in the rolling hills and farmlands of southern Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
